I fire engineers who defend their stack while cash burns.

You've seen it:

GraphQL because trend. Kubernetes for 10 users. Svelte "just to try it."

Now they reject AI.

"It hallucinates. I spend more time fixing it." "It leaks our IP." "It's just hype."

Same ego-driven stance. New target.

The reality?

Does it solve the problem? Do customers pay? Did you ship?

Engineers I fire defend their personal stack while runway dies. Engineers I keep master tools to serve results.

Tool attachment is emotional burden.

Laravel ships your MVP in 2 weeks? Use Laravel. AI writes 80% of your feature in 10 seconds? Use AI. No-code gets you to PMF? Use no-code.

Evolve only when the business demands it.

Mastery is knowing when to use what. Worship is defending what you know.

Your stack is not your identity.
