I hate proposals. Custom pricing. Scope creep.

They kill leverage. They kill speed.

I also realized:

"I cannot scale to more than 3 clients if I continue to do this." "I am selling my energy. Not my value." "I am building their asset while eroding my own."

So I stopped acting like a consultant but more like a product.

Hourly billing is a conflict of interest. If I work slow, I get paid more? That's broken. Founders want speed. Hourly models punish it.

You need a $5K/month outcome. Not $5K/month of fractional's time.

I don't want to be an expensive contractor selling hours. I want to sell results.

So I built a 3x3 matrix. 3 engagement levels. 3 distinct products. Fixed milestones. Fixed price.

  1. Pre-PMF: Fast iteration.
  2. Post-PMF: Series A readiness.
  3. Series A+: Governance retainer.

Each product has 6 milestones over 6 months. Simple.

Now, I don't sell my time. I sell a proven path to Series A.

Execution is simplified. Every step can be optimized to what the market has best to offer. Pitching is effortless. You can see the ROI immediately.

The incentives are finally aligned: I want to deliver value fast. You want the result fast.

And I scale my business without scaling my exhaustion.
