Rebuilding Confidence Is a Full-Time Job

Being unemployed doesn't mean sitting still.

If anything, it's the most focused I've been in months.

Because this time isn't a pause. It's a pressure cooker—for growth.

Here's how I'm using it:

  • I post daily. No audience? Doesn't matter. Consistency matters
  • I ship updates to my site. My platform, my voice
  • I build leadership systems—tools I wish I had when I led bigger teams
  • I read nonstop—tech, leadership, strategy. Input fuels output
  • I block my calendar. Time is still mine to manage
  • I reach out and connect to keep momentum alive
  • And yes—I'm applying. Intentionally

Momentum doesn't show up on its own. You create it—one small step at a time.

What's helped you stay sharp between roles?
