This week I celebrate:

(After 10 months of setbacks)

👉 I landed my first 4-figure Fractional CTO retainer.

That's the headline.

I also: Published my first free checklist on delegating smarter. Released a 1-hour paid coaching call link. Drafted systems from Discovery → Growth for my clients. Drafted my frameworks from 0 → $5M for startups. Pushed a PR to connect my PGSQL to Supabase. Improved my content strategy. Stopped posting on X. Doubled down on networking and outreach. Experimented a lot with AI image gen.

And I failed. More rejections from job applications. Content overwhelm. A dead Reel on IG. Over-extended on too many projects. Misaligned high-leverage moves.

The lessons:

1️⃣ The job market is a joke (traction is on the business side) 2️⃣ 3 platforms max. Depth > spread 3️⃣ Fear is inconsequential. Let it flow 4️⃣ Simple stack + Agentic AI = unfair speed 5️⃣ Speed of exit matters more than speed of entry 6️⃣ Tactical optimization won't change trajectory

The next levers: Anchor on high-leverage moves. Systemize IG content. Focus on 1-2 experiments that compound. Spend more energy on PRD design than coding. Set explicit stop-loss rules.

Cut losses fast. Double down on what compounds.
