You don't need a strategy to recover.
You need to do something stupid.
You lose the client. The co-founder quits. You stare at the ceiling at 3 AM.
Your brain begs for a master plan. "I need to pivot. I need a roadmap. I must fix this NOW."
Don't.
Despair feeds on stillness. It convinces you that you must solve the $1M problem before you get out of bed.
That is paralysis. You have to move your way out.
Pick the dumbest tasks that insult your intelligence:
→ Fix a typo in the README → Pay a $50 bill → Delete one spam email
You must reboot the founder. Action creates motivation. Not the other way around.
Don't wait for the energy to lead forward. Move until it finds you.
