Founder guilt is a tax you don't have to pay.

You're not coding anymore.

You're not grinding weekends. You hired a fractional CTO instead of brute-forcing it solo.

And now the guilt hits:

Your devs work late into the night, while you clock out at 5PM. A tech choice backfires. "Did you vet this?" Friday arrives. You stop. Everyone else "never quits."

You feel like a fraud.

Here's what you're missing: You focus on output, but your job is outcome.

The minute you step out of the field. The minute your startup stops running in circles.

Delegate execution.

Your actual job:

→ Set direction → Ruthlessly prioritize → Shield your team from self-imposed chaos

Leadership is owning results, making bold calls, protecting the mission.

Buying expertise is multiplied leverage. The fractional CTO makes the first decision without you? Guilt spikes. Especially after a screw-up: "If I'd just done it myself..."

That guilt? It means you're shifting into actual leadership.

Stop paying the tax.

You earned the weekend.
