Shipping fast requires one skill founders hate.

Saying no.

I just forced a founder to cut 70% of their scope. We go live next week.

I constantly see it. I know it hurts. You want the shiniest product.

The brutal truth:

You spread yourself thin. You lose focus. You bury your core value under features nobody asked for. You burn cash when you have 1 in 10 odds to survive.

No. You're not special. You still have 1 in 10.

Hammer scope hard:

→ Doesn't serve your first 50 paying customers? Kill it. → One ICP. One path. → Can't deliver value manually in 72 hours? Don't code it. → Build backwards from $10K MRR. → No analytics. No back office. No user management. → Forget Kubernetes. Single instance first. → Drop the cool UI. Ship the raw backend first.

Build the smallest thing customers will pay for repeatedly.

Not ashamed when you ship? You waited too long.
